Associated Press writer Matt Gouras reported on the Senate’s endorsement of the budget.

He also wrote about a member of the Tea Party being asked to leave a Republican caucus, and the AP had a story about a move to allow silencers.

Gouras also wrote about the failure of a $100 million bonding measure.

Mike Dennison, of the Lee State Bureau, took a look at the budget deal and chronicled its crawl toward final passage.

The bureau’s Charles Johnson wrote about the failure of the bonding measure and the state workers’ pay plan, and Gov. Brian Schweitzer saying he would like to offer changes to the medical marijuana reform bill.

He also reported on the GOP refusing to approve Gov. Brian Schweitzer’s nomination for state political practices commissioner.
