Morning Buzz 4/20: News from the 62nd Legislature

Mike Dennison, of the Lee State Bureau, reported a that legislative leaders are less optimistic about wrapping up by this Friday. The Associated Press reported on the progress of a budget deal between the GOP and the governor.

Dennison’s second story was about the Senate giving eminent domain change a hard-fought endorsement.

John S. Adams, of the Great Falls Tribune, also wrote about the eminent domain bill.

AP writer Matt Gouras wrote about the passage of a DUI bill.

Charles Johnson, of the bureau, wrote about the completion of the medical marijuana reform committee’s work.

Karl Puckett, of the Great Falls Tribune, reported that the governor stripped the Rainbow Dam from a bill that would give green credits to hydroelectric improvements.
