Morning Buzz 4/15: News from the 62nd Legislature

Charles Johnson, of the Lee State Bureau, wrote about Gov. Brian Schweitzer’s meeting with GOP leaders to discuss budget but little was resolved.

Mike Dennison, also of the bureau, reported on high-profile case discussing the Legislature’s inability to grant eminent domain for power lines.

Eve Bryon, of the Helena Independent Record, wrote about Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks coming out of the session with few mandated changes despite large number of bills.

Kimball Bennion, of the Great Falls Tribune, wrote about Gov. Schweitzer’s relationship with state’s oldest resident, Walter Breuning, who passed away Thursday.

Matt Gouras, of the The Associated Press, also reported on Gov. Schweitzer’s meeting with GOP leaders to discuss the budget.
