Charles S. Johnson, of the Lee State Bureau, wrote about attempts by Democrats and social service advocates to convince the House Taxation Committee to raise the revenue estimates contained in House Joint Resolution 2.

The Associated Press reported on the advance of an attempt to make sweeping changes to the Montana Environmental Protection Act. The AP also carries a story today about the state’s agreement to let bison roam outside Yellowstone National Park’s Gardiner entrance.
